Born and raised in the California Bay Area, Kaitlin Huwe is an actress, singer-songwriter, producer, and writer with an affinity for shape-shifting, traveling back in time, and offering songs and stories as medicine.
Most recently, Kaitlin worked alongside Anthony Hopkins, lending her voice to his etherial soundtrack compositions for the feature film Elyse, directed by Stella Hopkins.
Kaitlin made her debut as an actor and singer at Sundance Film Festival The Nowhere Inn, directed by Bill Benz and starring Annie Clark (St. Vincent) and Carrie Brownstein. The film was also a selection of SXSW and Tribeca.
Television credits include L.A.'s Finest opposite Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union, TNT's drama series, Animal Kingdom, Comedy Central's Workaholics, and Total Badass Wrestling for Snapchat.
When she is not acting, or working on her poetry book, she writes music for live theater, film, and to stay sane.
Kaitlin is the Founder and CEO of wonderwell creative, an interdisciplinary creative studio and community where she facilitates creative circles, provides creative consulting, produces creative work, and facilitates meditation and embodiment education for humans, creatives, and companies.
Kaitlin earned a BA in Acting from UCLA's School of Theatre Film and Television, completed the Advanced Improv Track at The Groundlings School in LA, and is a graduate of the 2-Year Meisner Training at the Baron Brown Studio.
