REVIEWS ARE IN:
"BUS STOP" BY WILLIAM INGE
DIRECTED BY ANN HEARN TOBOLOWSKY
AT THEATRE 40 IN BEVERLY HILLS

“Hearn Tobolowsky’s staging fares particularly well with the emotional fireworks involving Cherie (Kaitlin Huwe), a jaded Kansas City nightclub singer who’s already regretting her impulsive road trip with stage-door cowboy Bo (Niko Boles) after a one-night stand. Sexy, flighty and vulnerable by turns, Huwe’s layered performance frees Cherie from Marilyn Monroe’s famous portrayal in the film version and justifies her self-styled “chanteuse” title when called upon to sing.”
-LA Times

“Kaitlin Huwe makes the role her own."
-Broadway World

“Kaitlin Huwe is stunning as the sheepishly endearing chanteuse, Cherie; we empathize with her and understand that she is a victim of her ignorance and misunderstandings of love and life.”
-ShowMag

“I’m not thinking or comparing Kaitlin Huwe to Marilyn at all. She’s brilliant in her very own way, and I believe every single word she says.
And Kaitlin Huwe’s musical number was the icing on the cake- very sultry, sensual and what a beautiful voice!
Bo’s tender moments were touching and his and Cherie’s last scene was the perfect ending that I was hoping- very intimate, real and delicate.”
-The Hollywood Times
